Picked up a small swarm today 29th September. Dont quite know what to do with them as i dont want them, I was only helping a poor old lady get rid of the bees from her backdoor

possible a cast from a second QC on a late supersedure queen, no chance of survival on its own, kill the queen and combine

or yuo could advertise it on here for anyone with a queenless hive, might works on a combine and the virgin possible make a late mating but few drones around

Put them in a hive for a few days and treat for varroa with Oxalic Acid. You could then combine once queen removed.

I have drones still, so the queen might mate. Local association may have someone desperate for a queen?

Have you got EFB anywhere near you? I would be very wary about combining an unknown swarm into a hive in my area.

Why.................. like de~fleaing a feral cat with lighter fluid or turpentine I suppose!
