If you did and didn't spot any then have some confidence in what you saw. If you analyse and question what you did this way after every inspection you'll end up having nightmares about bees and go mad!!!

Very often your gut feelings are correct, and the more you think the more you can undermine your original and correct assessment.

I shouldn't worry. My bees have been flying like that on a few days after periods when they didn't get out much. I think it was the fact that... 'the was shining' and maybe some of the girls had been elevated in status to foragers and were orientating.
