Hello.
This is the third time this has happened over the last month. In the same period I have inspected 4 times and found zero queen cells of any kind.
They calm down again after about 20 minutes!

Any ideas what this could be?
Thanks

Looks like an orientation flight to me.

Look at the over all shape of their movement. They're going round in increasing shapes learning where their home is. When it's a swarm there's no question, its much much bigger and loud.

Thanks for your responses. That exactly what it is. Sorry for the panic but I've had them swarm before in may. 😊
