Does anyone know of any offers on sugar,Manchester area,I've a few Nucs that need feeding and its getting expensive.
Thanks

Ring up your local liquidator and ask him if he has any bankrupt hotels. Offer to buy all the sugar, especially lumps in "Hotel logo identified" wrappings which are useless. Chuck the whole lot into water and the wrappings drop to the bottom and the sugar dissolves.
House clearance people who often sell stuff in car boots often get sugar from kitchens. Befriend one and get him to store up white sugar for you.

Beware wholesale sugar, supermarkets often sell one or two kilo bags as a loss leader, and the wholesale stuff can actually cost more:)

2kg bags at local Tesco here £1.34 so £13.40 for 20kg.......... fill yer boots

Asda too + 10% diff (?) or at least it was last week.
Have you tried local shop, cafes etc for broken bags as per another thread.
