Sublimox

I’ve just bought a used sublimox. It’s in excellent condition and looks hardly used but both white caps are a loose fit. The o-rings look in good condition. I thought it should have a friction fit to create a seal. Is this a problem?

Yes, they should be a push to get on. Just renew the o- rings. They do wear.

Try it with water, it will be obvious if the seal is not good enough. Mine are loose when cold but fine once the body of the sublimox is heated up and in use.
As Erichalfbee notes, it is worth looking at replacing the o rings. Search on here as it's been discussed in the past.
