strange behaviour at entrance

received the nuc in May and they have been happy,lots of pollen coming in.its a mild night here and the bees often hang out at the entrance.

saw strange behaviour to the right of the entrance,one slightly larger bee was keeping still and apparently being groomed by the others.

attached a pic- its the one on the right,hanging down..sorry its not very clear.

i last saw my queen a few weeks ago. Any ideas? Thanks.

From what I can make it looks like a drone; a lot of my hives evicted their drone population weeks ago.
