I have just extracted my last few kilos of honey and I've now got a brood box and 3 supers (some wet, some dry) to store. I've sealed them top and bottom with a sheet of plywood but I was wondering if there is something I should treat them with to avoid wax moth damage.

Sulphur (apparently we are supposed to conform to American standards and spell it sulfur now. Sod that) strips can be used. They are placed in a burner in an empty box on top of your stack (no more than about 6 deep). Roof or something on top so the stack is sealed. You can get them from Thornes along with more comprehensive instructions

Or if it is a very cold winter and we get freezing conditions, but your boxes and frames outside. The chill should sort them out

The wet ones are best gleaned - yes gleaned - by the bees before storing imho.
