Hi all
I have a quick querie that I've not come across so far whilst beekeeping, a farm near my out apiary has two fields of osr that is now flowering well and my hives are only about a 1k away,I've not started spring feed yet and I was wondering if I should start if they are going to go at the osr which looking at the hive entrance and the amount of pollen going in I'm pretty sure they have found it.

If they are already on the OSR why feed! As long as the temp is warm enough for the nectar to flow then why mix sugar with the crop?
