My wife has planted some Bee friendly plants this year in readiness for the girls arriving.

What a success, the **** out the front was full and the picture shows the Thyme that they seem to love. It is just under the washing line so she worries a little but the girls are more interested in the plant than us walking by.

The area hums, got a bumble nest under the shed too.

great...:),as a gardener I always try to plant bee friendly plants I also let some grass areas grow too, for the clover, etc for the bees, ( beekeeping and gardening go hand in hand dont they ) we all want the best for our bees

i agree, they also love cotoneaster early in spring, right now they only seem to go to the balsam, they have not touched my borage at all.
