Had a call to say there was a swarm cluster on the wall of the disused Cross Keys pub in Howden. I was in Hull at the time. About a hour later I was looking for the swarm which was conspicuously absent. Eventually spotted a stream of bees coming and going into a hole in the pointing about 6 metres up. Access would involve scaffolding right on the corner of a busy road, possible large removal of bricks from a conservation area building. I decided to pass on that one. Just not worth the hassle!

I was called to a swarm that had moved into, via an airbrick, a cavity wall. Nothing to be done but leave then to it sometimes.
