Yes, that's the stuff.
I've forgotten how many mg is advised. For a small colony I fill the tray level or slightly heaped for a double brood box. Maybe less for a small swarm.
Remember most varroa are under the capping of sealed brood. That's why it's good to treat a swarm before any brood is capped.
Many of us treat in August/September after the honey crop is taken off and before the autumn feed. Of course there is capped brood in the hive so we treat three times at five day intervals - designed to capture all unsealed brood.
Then I treat once more at New Year when hopefully there is no sealed brood present.

Yep me to, I apiguard in Aug/Sept then OA trickle December. That's what I have been shown to do, I am sure I will be shot down shortly ;)

But from reading this forum am thinking of vapourising in future - but just in Aug/Sept

Well guys, I ordered some Api-Bioxal and a syringe, I’ll get in and trickle them this time round. But I’m definitely going to look into Vaping for future treatments. There’s an old boy not too far from me who only powders his bees in Sugar as his sole treatment so I will be able to help him out also. It’s all experience after all.

I can’t tgg BF all you all enough for your input. Lots of research for me

Kind Regards
Dougie
