I was going throught my hives in an out apairy, making up a few nucs when i spotted her smiling up at me. The funny thing was that she is a this years queen and had about 8 slabs of near perfect brood, but there was also about 3 supersedure cells.

If she's that good remove her with a couple of frames of brood and let them go ahead and hatch then tharrrr cells perhaps Keith?

Nice pictures

Maybe they don't get her sense of humour or she is too happy for the rest of them ;)

Smiley!!??!!

More Evil Zombie Pumpkin I would have said!

I'm with Drew and Luminos about the "smiley" queen

Keith, you should enter the photo for the Beecraft calendar for October - Hallowe'en!
lol

As always, magnificent photography. Did you say 'say cheese' or 'honey' LOL

Nice pic. She looks very nice, too.

Is she clipped? Her left wing looks a bit shorter...

Yes, i clipped her today. I am embarressed to tell you this, but when i went to the van to get one of about 10 sissors that i keep falling over , i could find none. There was a new sharp secateurs on the shelf and i clipped her with that...
