Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen.
I'm just back from a little cruise. The captain was Dutch and described himself as a 'modern man'. He then said 'Hello everyone. I've been told I'm not allowed to say ladies and gentleman any more.' We groaned and laughed, but just a little. 🤭

I've sent single jars of honey to friends in Berlin via Royal mail. I filled in a little customs sticker, which is placed on the outside of the parcel. They often taken longer than expected to reach their destination, but I've only had one jar returned, that was due to me making a mistake in the address.

I used to run online businesses. Often when receiving a customer order for a destination outside of the EU, it was recommended we use Royal mail, as parcels were then far more likely to get through customs.

In this anti-chivalrous ages, I hold doors open for women, not because they are ladies but because I identify as a gentleman.

My first husband always manoeuvred me inside him whenever we walked along the pavement.
Stan strides ahead of me so fast it looks as if I’m three steps behind 😂

I bet it doesn’t work.
I know a little trick with her knuckles which makes her forget what she was doing.
All that training afforded by ex marines instructors on how to apply 'transitory discomfort' paid off. I remember overhearing my sister telling her schoolmates once 'whatever you do - don't give him your hand!'

I usually shy away from sending into Europe, used to send lots, but now & again we do get a random order.
I always use the post office and have not had any issues.

We sell lots to tourists for gifts etc and we have a little information leaflet we hand out printed with the information how to package etc.

We arrived in Lanzaroti yesterday morning for ten nights
and my four jars of Shropshire Borage have survived the journey just fine in the baggage hold, customs did pull me out of the queue questioning the amount of Codeine I carry, but no mention of the honey.

I'm going looking for an apparently quite famous beekeeper on the island tomorrow.
