Has anyone used these entrance blocks from T's and any useful tips or comments. The long slotted entrance seems very narrow to me.

I bought one a few years ago. It was too much of a faff. Each time it took me a few minutes to remember how to alter the configuration. Nothing as good as strips of foam of various lengths. KISS.

I have one I inherited from a colleague who emigrated and left me all his kit. Currently using it on a hive in the most open position (so turned to use the long slot, not the staggered holes, with the sliders fully at the other end so none of the slot is is blocked).

It causes no problems for the bees at all. The slot is taller than the groove on most of the wooden entrance blocks I've seen and only marginally narrower. I wouldn't have gone out of my way to buy it but I'm happy to use it.
