Bs honeybees Nuc entrance disc

Having just put my queen in the Nuc, I have blocked the entrance with grass as per instructions, but when I remove the grass which setting should I use on the disc? The queen excluder or fully open?

Open shouldn’t be any need for the queen excluder. I imagine the only use for the queen excluder entrance is when running two 3frame nucs and you don’t want the buggers to abscond.
