My first season got a hive and a nuc either side of the garden the larger colony has decided to rob the nuc feeding both
I put mesh over front with entrances at the sides seems to work...sprayed water last night....wondered if swapping hives positions over would help ???

Have you got a mate more than three miles away who could babysit your nuc for three weeks?
A small box shouldn't be much of a problem in a garden somewhere

Yes all ready to move now...think il bob them in a poly nuc while I'm at it...my strong hive the first collected swarmhas taken off now eleven frames of bees though I think apivar has cut the laying off...
