Remember the vandals who kicked my bees over on my allotment, well hears the outcome, Police report of man in his thirties going to the doctors with multiple bee stings day after the event gave false name and address case closed.

lucky he wasnt allergic or should that be shame.

surprised the Dr saw him without knowing who he was ?

You can see any doctor as a 'visitor' - just fill out a form - no checks are made!

how do the police know? i thought visits to the GP were private!!!

“Remember the vandals” Just about but I will put money on the vandals never forgetting your bees.

I don,t know how they found out, I got a phone call from them last night they went to the address he gave the doc and found it to be false, that is what they told me.

I thought GPs cross charged for attending to patients for other Doctors located elsewhere, e.g. visitors on holiday. Therefore, when the GP attempted to place a claim for his expenses, found it was fradulent and reported it to the Police?

I'll tell you how the police knew - bet the Doc is a beekeeper and read the report pasted on this website, saw it was the same area and put 2+2 together. That was the reason he informed the police!

Saddest part is the age of the 'vandal'. Not the mature, adult behaviour you'd expect. Not a bit of wonder this country's had it.

Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, a little bit stupid really!! who kicks over a bee hive and expect nothing to happen. There is a general clue to why we are wearing those funny white suits with the veils - no! Muppets.

I hope your bees are Ok

Well, if some people take E/enders etc as real what can you expect from some numpty?

Russel, I am glad the bees got him back!! Clever bees!

Was there much damage? Or did it all somehow hold together with propolis and honey?

Will,

...thanks for posting back - and my sympathies!

Sadly it's just another example of the total breakdown of our English Society.

I had 2 hives knocked over by vandals a couple of weeks back, they went onto the fruit farm, overturned 2 chemical toilets, chucked boxes trays about the place then found some fence posts which were thrown at my hives until they toppled over......

both double brood nationals, one laying on it's side the other with one BB upside down in the roof and the other BB upside down resting against the first.....

they'd been there for 2 days before i was made aware of it, went that evening and re-assembled the hives by torchlight....

checked both the following weekend and amazingly, both are still Q+ and happy hives

gobsmacked tbh..... thought i'd be combining them with other colonies, due to squished queens.....
