Register hive?

Hi

Should you register your hives with DEFRA or similar? My local bee association is aware of my hives

Probably been answered elsewhere but I couldn't find having searched forum.

Yes every beekeeper should register their hives/colonies/apiaries on BEEBASE

I suspect that some keepers of bees do not register and are possibly a continuous source of AFB EFB etc!
