Ragwort

Perhaps you could sneak in at night and spray his ragwort!

There's a field next to me which gets neglected. I go in and spot spray any Ragwort and thistle plants with roundup.
I figure its simpler and saves me having to control windborne seeds growing in my paddocks.
Unrelated but the same field is a carpet of dandelions which the bees make use of when in flower.
 
I thought of doing it to next doors fields but I would need a drum full of spray and a tractor!
Of course whilst it is green and growing stock will leave it alone ...but they will eat it if wilted.
 
Thanks, a very interesting report. Certainly allays my concern about the bees collecting nectar from ragwort, though obviously not desirable.

I didn't realise borage also has PAs (pyrrolizidine alkaloids) in the plant.

Many plants contain PAs but not all PAs are toxic and some herbivores (insect and mammal) may be very susceptible to some PAs and very resistant to others - it's an absolute minefield!
