I learned something odd the other day. -Vespa is a famous make of
scooter, and 'vespa' is Italian for 'wasp'. -Probably common knowledge
so far, but when they take what is basically a scooter and stick two
wheels on the back and use it as a little van, that is called an 'Ape'
(pronounced ah-peh, and sharing an origin with 'apiary'), which,
according to the missus, is Italian for 'bee'. -The idea being that one
just bobs around making a noise, and the other does some work
