Great spot. It won’t take long for the workers to get it removed. I also seen it once or twice, I believe this is minutes after the Q (not a VQ now 😜) is back.

Saw something today I'd never seen before. A very busy nuc that had swarmed on a clipped queen has produced a new queen that obviously got mated today!

Fabulous to see, great that you captured with a photo! Be interesting to take another shot in a week or so to see the change in size of her abdomen, when her ovaries swell after mating.
