Queen cell appears in queenless colony amidst scattered worker-laid drone brood.

One of my colonies has been Q-less for a 2-3 weeks. All the worker brood has emerged and I've been slow to get round to amalgamating it. Unsurprisingly today there is scattered worker-laid drone brood. What did surprise me was the appearance of a sealed queen cell! I've not seen this before. I didn't open it and will look again in a few days.
