It seems that favourable conditions are giving an early boost to all colonies , I have 2 hives and a nuc which have come through the winter which have expoloded over the last few weeks .

Whats the general feeling for this year , lots of swarms , lots of honey ??

A better season than last year.
Excellent OSR yield
Lots of swarm collections for those who collect
Higher than average summer honey crop
Another Indian summer
Excellent year for Heather Honey

but I guess most bee keepers wish the same every year

At the moment the sun is shining and the 10 day forecast is very similar. But you can never expect the weather to play ball forever. In fact we really need some moisture in the ground otherwise no nectar.

My prediction = same as last year

Reasonable spring crops everywhere
Mid summer very good
July a write-off

I never give predictions, but if pressed.

All my hives produce honey with enough oomph to give me a split or two.

300lb hopefully.

Curious because walking the woods locally and in the garden I have NEVER seen so much blossom forming on holly. Any ideas what this foretells?
