Post Office - Track and Trace

This is a long shot but I am hoping there is someone out there who is more tech savvy than me who can help.

I paid extra to be able to track when an important letter was delivered and signed for and entered the reference number onto the screen. It said I had to download an app. I don't remember having to do this before so went ahead. My screen advised that I already have this app so perhaps I already downloaded it before and forgot. So now I have to find out where my laptop is keeping the app before I have any chance of finding out if my letter got delivered. Does anyone know where I should be looking or what sort of thing (possibly an icon?) I should be looking for please?

If you search 'track & trace' ont' web you should get Royal Mail Track etc. appear.
Click on T&T and then enter your ref no.
That's how I do it and it works, no app needed.

As above, I cannot find anything about an app. Just in case it is malware go to downloads and delete it.

Or just type, "www.royalmail.com" and click the option top left.

I use this infrequently for work but have to do the tracking on my laptop because work computer prevents it working!
