Polystyrene cozy with anti curious chicken protection

The first attempt with bare polystyrene lasted a couple of days, then the chickens became curious about the white stuff and proceeded to peck it to small pieces. They converted it to granules over the next couple of days. :-( Hence the ply and resin protective cover revised design development.
The kingspan has suffered minor pecking to the edges but fibreglass tape and resin has dissuaded further deterioration.
