Is it supersedure or supercedure ? I have a feeling that the first spelling was the original one but the second one seems to be used quite frequently these days.

What does it matter... ? .. you know what it means... a bit like AS/MAQS/ DLQ /OMF and so on all them are spelling mistakes in my eye balls..

I will leave them till next weekend and see how things are progressing. Hopefully the feed and the extra frame of drawn comb will make them more productive and settled. If I can help it, I don't want to change anything as they are a really chilled out bunch of lasses.
If I did decide to go down the route of Re Queening, is there a breeder I could go to and would it be too late to do it?

There is plenty of breeders out there Mike and it is 100% not too late to introduce a mated Queen..

Cheers Steve. As I say, I will check next weekend(although it's killing me to wait) and see if there are any eggs or new QC's. I have seen Larvae and capped Brood but I have realised that I didn't look for actual eggs. If there isn't a significant change, I will order a new mated Queen. I have just googled it and looked at Becky's bees. £34 for a mated queen.
If I go down this route, stand by for the deluge of queries about introducing her to the colony. We covered it in the classes but it never mirrors real life IMHO.

Often go through colonies a couple of times a day IF it's what I need to do to sort things out. I wouldn't worry if you can't wait a week:spy:
