Check you local freecycle ... always fridges on there - you don't need to decommission it .. just don't use the fridge ... unless of course you want to chill the booze when you are not warming honey !

Just disconnect the wiring to the fridge .
don’t interfere with the refrigerant part and you’re a okay !
you can use the mains lead to power your warming cabinet .
