Anyone using the all in one plastic frames & foundation for the brood box, what's the pros & cons? Thanks

In theory it sounds good.
In practise the Bees do not seem to like it all.
I was given a frame with plastic foundation and they barely touched it.
I have read that if you paint a thin layer of bees wax on it they will draw comb.
If it was successful I think a lot of us would use them.
