Someone suggested that the bees collect nectar from this plant. How good is the nectar flow? Any pollen and if so what colour?
 
I'm assuming its great forage if its closely related to RBWH. It was growing in greater profusion near some apiaries and has been in flower for absolutely ages! I just didnt know what it was called. Makes sense now, looks so similar!

Anyone know if its as generous to the bees as RBWH?
 
For me it is great willow herb (Epilobium hirsutum); leaves are hoary. Broad leaved willow herb is a smaller plant with glossy leaves.

That is it.

We have it in dirty ditches. Quite rare here.
 
Yes. It's in ditches and around water where I have seen it.

It's as common as RBWH around here
