This is a large shrub plant which has grown into something of a hedge. The bees are mad for it, and I wondered what it is. Can anyone help? Sorry, not the best photo!

Looks like some sort of cotoneaster to me.....wait for the experts though!

It's a bit late for Cotoneaster to be flowering, same with Berberis. Perhaps Snowberry? It does sometimes flower late summer.

Any thorns? Berberis maybe?

Symphoricarpus Orbiculatus

Thank you so much; I like Tim S' certainty about coral berry ... I will check the plant more closely and do an online comparison between coral berry and snow berry. Thanks for all the feedback and yes, Millet, those pics were fantastic!

The certainty comes from nearly 40 years in the horticultural trade - and I still get things wrong! Still learning horticulture as I am about bees.............

You should find the flowers set to become pink (coral) berries.

Like the other current (snowberry) ID, please let us know what colour the berries are when they come. Ta
