Visited my hives today to collect a roof on top of an OMF and crown board I'd left behind on Friday only to find a swarm had moved in and drawn comb under the roof . So much for leaving bait hives around.

That throws all the theory of size of box out the window lol

At home (no bees at home) I was in a rush the other week so dumped a heap of old many combs in some brood boxes, no lid just a rough leaning tower of Pisa
After a few days I thought best clear that up before I get nagged at because it seems to be getting robbed off by someone's bees, any way the robbing wasn't robbing it was a medium-small swarm that had taken up residence!
