Payne feeder

Hi all

Wondering if anyone running paynes hives uses an alternative feeder to the paynes poly rapid Miller feeder? & does it work as well?

We like the paynes feeder but the price of them is painful considering the number we need.

I just use a 2.5 ltr rapid feeder inside an empty super on top of my Paynes polys (central hole in the crownboard and the feeder over it).

If you wanted a bigger feeder you can get an English feeder that holds 6 litres that will fit in an empty super ...
