I have recently acquired some of these bee boxs in langstroth format. They are slightly different in that they are bottm bee space. This results in little or no room on top of the box. They are of course poly hives and fit together well and tightly, this exarcerbates my problem as I wish to apply MAQs to the hive but have no clearance to introduce the strip between the top of the frames and the roof. Other than fabricating a small wooden eke or putting an additional brood box on I cant see away round this anyone solved the problem.

I have Langstroth paradise bee boxes, the newer lids have a space for pollen patties, I've also made some ekes from cavity Wall foam insulation slabs from the builders merchant for my older boxes
