a few more than last year but still not enough
anyone have any idea when the osr flowering will be over for this year?

Rather wide question... it all depends on your local weather hmm?

Here it is just into full flower mainly but some parks still to reach full blossom.

Yes, when the flower petals drop off, or at least that seems to be the case here...

I would think it depends on when the crop was sown and the temperatures in your area, etc....
 
Don't care unless the weather settles...bees at home made the mile only twice; big colony 1/4 mile away in out apiary is now in the garage wall awaiting cutout, swarm hived and two nucs :eek:
 
for what its worth the fields around me are almost over i would give it a few days perhaps a week. (thats in coastal south Devon).

What a total wash out!

OSR in your parks? Is this the local council's latest money raising scheme? :rolleyes:
 
Fields near Euston in Suffolk were flowering over 4 weeks ago when I was up there and according to my beekeeping friend t is still flowering .
