I don't do attitude, maybe it reads more harsh than it was meant to. I only wanted the answer to the question, not the ins and outs of who's land is what. Apologies if the previous post upset you or anyone else. It wasn't meant to.

It won't upset my neighbour as his property backs onto a different field, where there is no access at all. The dividing fence is between our houses so that is no problem. As I said, no one EVER passes by the back as there is nowhere to go to, so the chances of upsetting someone are very slim to none. I was just wondering if I would have to leave the trellis panel out for a day or two if I put the hive the other side of the trellis fence?

I wasn't talking about the neighbour who you know in the house next door; I was referring to the neighbour (owner) who you obviously don't know on whose land you were thinking of putting the hive.

Something that may be to your advantage if the land really doesn't belong to anyone (or if you're willing to stick your neck out even if it does) ...
Look up "Adverse Possession"; Follow the proper process and the land could be legally yours in 12 years for little cost.
