Just been out chapping doors looking for sites / locations for an out apiary.....first door visited and two sites obtained.......HAPPY DAYS.
Also two old hives...one a WBC and the other I am unsure, roofs were off and had been open to the elements but looked salvageable
didn't spend time looking at them as had to go to the second site
They are within 1/4 mile of a large lavender field so some nice honey to come.....I hope.
