I got this given by a relative today, she has a big lump of it creeping across the garden wall around 15ft wide and around 4ft high and it was covered in bumble bees and the odd wasp, later on in the season it produces berries that the blackbirds go bonkers for.

Mine has just finished flowering. Bees, Bumbles and odd wasp went mad for it.

Have taken cuttings to grow more for the bees.... and Blackbirds for the berries.

Try drying some of the berries out and planting them, it is self seeding all over my Aunts garden, i think it from the birds pooping the seeds out once they have digested the berry.

If you can grow it up a south facing wall the house will hum with pollinators. They all love it.
I would like to do that but the main garden is my lady friends baby and i may die in my sleep if i interfere lol, there has been a Wisteria planted on the south facing wall i do however have a nice spot planned for this.

I'll try that when the berries form as well. Thanks. Its the sort of plant that once a branch touches the ground it roots so have several of these taken. I'll be planting them in my wild field/wood area along the fence line. I just want anything that's good for the bees and wildlife in general. All my willow slips have taken well with long shoots on them so hopefully the bees will enjoy them when they flower in the spring.
