Had to google the name: turns out to be village in Wrexham and nearly the highest village in Wales. They had to take the signs down when it was discovered after many years that Trefil was higher.

Errrrr no? If you have a problem as much background information and photos if you have them stops a lot of speculation and gets you a sensible answer pretty quickly.
