Damn - if I knew you were going to collect - you could have brought mine back! never mind, shell probably arrive tomorrow and me in the game fair - postie has instructions to put her in the cool in the shed (I'll leave a note to make sure he doesn't put her in the fridge! :D
 
I would have offered, too... but I assumed she was already in the post. I have popped mine in the brood box, with the tape on the candy for the next few days. I am sure that I got the old queen... but she fell away from the hive in an inaccessible location. I'm hoping that she did not just get injured and later returned to the hive. I did look all through the brood box again. The character of the hive has changed... they are noticeably less pleasant (not bad, just not as nice).

Just a waiting game now.

add a better location than UK to your profile and somene might be able to help

i only transport bees to locations within one hours drive of me
