I am new to this !
But can't help think i can do a slightly better job of the supers and brood boxes !
i've come up with a 4 piece ( rather then 8 piece ) version
all sizes are exactly the same the only thing is at the min the are in white wood ie pine so are slightly heavier !
but they are ergonomically designed . flat pack needing 8 screws or 8 anuall ring shanks to fix together in seconds .

How much would you beeks pay for 10 supers .
I'd send a sample and need to do these in bulk to keep the cost down !!

thanks woody

I presume you are talking about National pattern? Photos would be very helpful. Are the boxes still square?

Check out Commercial (properly, Modified Commercial) as it already exists as a much-simplified 4-piece standard design.

To avoid compatibility headaches both internal and external dimensions need to match the standards.

external measurements and internals are exact .
i'm working on pics and will get them on as soon as i can !
cheers

A 4 piece national box with same dimensions as standard int and ex would mean end walls about 2 inches thick. I think thered be a weight issue unless their built in balsa

Interesting sounds like a Rose hive but built to National dimensions
