Well guys I took the supers off this evening not much left in them but still happy.
I gave the bee's there feed too .
Some of the frames are not sealed I shook them and nothing fell out .
Can I harvest the unsealed frames ?
One hives honey was capped with yellow wax is this normal?

Go for it, i do not know how you will be extracting but the capped honey mixed with the uncapped will level the moisture content out for sure in such a small scale, on the yellow capping, if you have no Queen excluder in place leave the frame it where it is.

The shake test is a good rough guide in the apiary, but I check water content with refractometer in the extracting room. The shake test is not infallible in my experience
