Moving day

I am potentially moving my hive in 2 weeks time - to my new garden. It is approx 1.8miles as the crow flies. Does anybody have any advice on the best way to do it.

Shut them in at night. Two straps parallel to each other underneath roof. 1.8 miles you can probably not bother with a travel screen.
Move in the morning. Frames going in the direction of travel
Instal in new site, leave half an hour before you remove whatever you have used to shut them in.
