mould - its fresh mould but what should i do ?

so doing the demarree the other day I ended up with some frames and I cut out the drone brood

(see other chat for discussion about is that right/wrong ... I am a newbie and an indecisive libran one at that !)

now the frame has got mouldy

.....but what preparation should i do before it could go back in a hive

dry it out ?
cut it out ?
leave it be ?
melt it ?
 
Just scrape most of it off back to the foundation and give it back to them.

Two outside frames I had to change in Spring. Ended up becoming mouldy over the winter. Presumably due to lower temperature from the cluster.

Weren’t like the above photo, just more of a black mould all over.

yeah i had some of them and a slug infestation ... but as soon as the hive got busy and hot they sorted them out

was just worried by this fresh stuff really .... but then i live blue cheese too :)
