Hi all,
Just a quick question: what is the recommendation on mixing bee stock in the same apiary?
For instance, one hive with Carnolians and another with Welsh black bees and another yet with Buckfast?
This a problem or not?

Thanks

It shouldn't be a problem. The only thing you might see is stronger colony robbing a weaker one. They'll be looking for easy food from dead-outs early in the season until natural food comes on-stream.

Never been to me

Thank you all. Considering expanding number of hives with a nuc from a different supplier to other.
Sounds like not a problem at all.
Cheers
