Microscope for II

I'm planning on doing II next season so starting to get the kit in place. I thought I'd begin with the microscope. On Brunel's website http://www.brunelmicroscopes.co.uk/honeybees.html they recommend a few microscopes from £617.87 inc VAT, although in the online shop the price jumps up to £680.00! (+ shipping?) Which microscopes do people use for II and what are the pros and cons?

Does anyone have any experience with AmScope products?

You are really looking for a long arm dissecting scope.
Have a look at this on ebay....save you a few bob and do the same job.

Thanks. Does everyone use a fixed magnification microscope? Or is zoom worth the extra?
