I built up some brood frames, with nice new foundation, then like a Pratt left them in the hot car. They have gone a bit hard and sagged a bit, got them more or less back into shape. Are they goosed or will the bees still take to them?

Your goosed fella a load of mine went all wavy and some have sagged in the hive. The bee's drawn everyone except the wavy and sagged ones.

I agree with the comments above regarding doing away with the foundation and just trying starter strips. You can also cut sections of foundation out around the wires for speed.

But as you have fitted the foundation you may as well salvage them.

Get yourself two flat pieces of wood and press them together either side of the foundation this should get them close to flat

Thanks for the input guys. I think they are goosed, the wire is almost hanging out on one! They wouldn't have been so bad if I had them stood up instead of layed flat. Will get some new foundation ordered and hope for a quick delivery

Don't forget to save the old stuff until you have enough to exchange for new foundation ;)
