I brought this a few weeks ago to replace the 6 broken cheap models piled up in the garage and it’s sat in the box till today, I needed a few made up frames for a cut out. It’s a serious piece of kit unlike cheaper models it has a very fine nose and easy to precisely find a small target area. And quite literally no jumping when fired. I will give it a blast with a couple of hundred frames tomorrow and report back but so far very impressed. Ian https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SulW8C2z98U

We use the DPT 353 Makita... has a habit of shattering the drive slider mechanism.... have two, but we do make up a considerable quantity of frames.
This new? model may have been made to overcome the floors in the 353?

Let’s hope so and yes I do a good number of frames as well. I took a 2 year old Makita battery angle grinder into the shop the other day sent repaired and returned in a week free of charge!! I have a good amount of their battery tools and am very happy with the quality and service. Thks lan

I have been waiting for this!!!!!

Thanks.

I also have the DPT 353 but its only 23g. Their old 18g was huge.

Definitely going to upgrade. So worth it

With the battery in it’s quite nicely balanced as well, I found the brads fired in flush on its lower setting.

I have been using a Bostitch SB-1850BN 18 Gauge Nail Gun for years, I've nailed 1000's of frames, yes its an air nailer but a compressor is fairly cheap, very reliable, in 30 years I have only ever replace the plastic foot on it.

The 23 gauge is the best nail gun for putting frames together, tiny nozzle on gun for precision nailing

I put together about 250 brood frames today, really nice to use. The lack of recoil or jumping when fired is a real bonus compared with cheaper models.
