Bought a load of the 'second' frames (600) in the sale, and only 4 came that were not useable (broken at lugs) and three needed a bit of glue (split wood). The rest are good. The faults appear to be transport issues and the frames seem generally in much better order than I was expecting from posts here. They are far superior to some 'firsts' I had to buy this year due to an 'emergency' and only a smidgen back from my normal Thorns at a fraction of the cost. Dad even thinks the broken lugs will be fine, but I just want to make some dummy boards from them. I would buy again. Great value and fine for the job.
