Luminous yellow pollen...

5...2 wooden National, 2 poly Nat & 1 poly nuc...bursting at the seams
My girls are collecting luminous yellow pollen...so bright that when they enter the hive you can still see the pollen disappearing for some distance...Next question...what is it??
 
Mine have the same and no rape here. Not pollen, but sensible bees using high-viz pollen basket covers for those spring evenings...
 
Some sort of catkin I imagine , they are covered in it. I have seen what we call pussy willow/ sally here and the pollen is very yellow , the bees are covered in it
