I have been working on a house today and one clown said watch the wasp's.. when i seen the behavior i knew they where Honey bee's frantically trying to gather stores ..which got the job stopped by me..
I can go get my equipment to rescue them (they are in a attic) before the council come and kill them.. but will they winter ok this time of the year or is it a lost cause..it's playing on my mind or i would not ask..
Thank's
Steve

Yes, but will need care. Remove and frame as much of the stores as possible. Feed and insulate properly.

Hi Millet,
IMHO the critical question is going to be their winter bee situation i.e. you must save the brood.

Thank you for the answer's.. i have thought about it and with my level of knowledge and experience with bee's i think it wold be best for me to leave well alone in this situation and this time of the year.. i just hope they get a proper bee keeper in to remove them rather than kill them.. i will find out what has happened to them next week.
